Who wouldn’t want the scent of nature to fill the corners of their home? The smell of fresh air and earth under your feet as you walk through a landscape of tall trees, or the salty air from the sprays of waves at the beach, or the cool evening breeze combined with the whiff of toasted marshmallows on camping night. If all these and more are just right up your alley, then Lifebloom has got you covered.

Meet Lifebloom, a destination for candle lovers in the heart of Boston. Partners Eric and Megan founded Lifebloom as a means to bring a piece of nature into the comforts of one’s home through candles and home fragrances. Their signature candles consist of virgin coconut, coconut soy wax, phthalate- and paraben-free fragrance oils, and 100% cotton or FSC-certified wood wicks encased in handcrafted concrete jars, ensuring that each scent is not only better for your home but for the environment too.

Furthermore, Lifebloom collaborated with noissue to create the perfect packaging for their handmade candles. Designed with elements that are close to the heart of the brand and especially made with FSC-certified recycled materials that are conveniently compostable or recyclable after use, Lifebloom ensures that their commitment to sustainability rings true from start to finish.

Tell us a bit about your brand, introduce it to the world!

Two years ago, Lifebloom was born after founders Eric and Megan returned from a weekend getaway in Vermont. Wishing to bring their favorite aspects of the outdoors home after returning to city life, they created candles that evoked memories of nature. Every Lifebloom candle encapsulates a story of craftsmanship, featuring vessels meticulously crafted in-house from concrete and candles poured by hand using 100% clean ingredients.

Today, Lifebloom has two retail locations in Boston, MA. Within these spaces, a unique experience awaits at their Candle Bar & Shop. Here, guests have the opportunity to either craft their own bespoke candles at the bar or immerse themselves in the aromas of Lifebloom's own meticulously crafted creations. It's not just a shop; it's a sensory journey where nature-inspired memories come to life.

Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?

Every brand has a visual signature, and for Lifebloom, it lies in our universal box design. Designed with hand-drawn elements inspired by nature, our packaging is a canvas for creativity and embodies our brand identity. This choice is more than aesthetic; it's a conscious effort to create an unboxing experience that mirrors the joy of discovering a piece of nature. The box is a portal, and the opening is an invitation to immerse in the tranquility within.

To empower our customers, we proudly include the ingredients on the box, ensuring transparency so that they know exactly what is inside, from start to finish.

noissue Custom Reverse Tuck End Boxes for @lifebloom

What made noissue a good fit for your packaging?

In the quest for a partner that shares our commitment to sustainability, noissue emerged as the natural choice. Their Reverse Tuck End Box, crafted from FSC-certified, recycled corrugate, became the canvas for our vision. For Lifebloom, it's not just a box; it's a conscious choice.

Sustainability is a commitment that extends beyond the initial unboxing. We introduced a reusable and circular sustainability model with our packaging return program for our in-person customers. Customers can shop their favorite Lifebloom candles, bring their candles home to enjoy, and then return their packaging for reuse for our next customer in exchange for a discount on their next purchase. This model creates a cycle that ensures our boxes find new life again and again.
