Housed in a gorgeous heritage structure in a circa 1876-built Lawless Grocery Store building, a combined shop and dine experience like no other awaits their customers in their flagship on Brisbane's James Street.

To us, a retail store is more than just a place to buy products. Our customers visit Rodd & Gunn lodges to get lost in an experience. So, we want to make every single interaction with our customers authentic and memorable. After all, a sense of Kiwi hospitality is ingrained in our brand’s DNA. Inside our concept store, anything is possible - browse the latest collection one moment, then tuck into a delectable dish designed by The Lodge Bar Group’s Executive Chef, Matt Lambert, the next.
The shared ethos between Rodd & Gunn and The Lodge Bar Group is undeniable—both value quality, deliver a luxurious customer experience, and promote the best of New Zealand. The Lodge Bar Group's Executive Chef, Matt Lambert, has followed the same ethos as our other restaurants by sourcing the finest local produce Australia has to offer, allowing the quality ingredients to shine. Cameron Douglas, The Lodge Bar Group's Master Sommelier and Group Beverage Manager, has curated an expansive wine list with New Zealand and Australian wines at the heart of it.
Both the venue and the food are inspired by the raw, pure forms of nature found in our homeland, New Zealand. We first opened our doors in Queenstown, then in Commercial Bay, Auckland, and now in James Street, Brisbane, in May 2022.
Tell us about the design for your packaging and how you’re using them?
Our noissue Custom Food Paper is used for our appetizers and snack items. The customization of our food safe paper is perfect for showcasing our branding with the pointer dog, which is represented through both retail and hospitality.
